JAMMU, Aug 30: Ujjwal Reet Kour, a student from Delhi Public School Jammu, has brought honor to her school and parents by securing a bronze medal at the Jammu Marathon-2023. The event, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police as part of its Civic Action Program, took place at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
Ujjwal Reet, a seventh-grade student (VII-E), stood out in the U-14 years sub-junior girls category, earning herself the bronze medal. The marathon, held on March 5, 2023, saw the participation of over 4000 athletes from various parts of the country, competing in eleven different categories.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including Hon'ble President-RCT M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi, along with Principal- Ruchi Chabra, extended their heartiest congratulations to Ujjwal Reet Kour for her exceptional performance in the event.
