Samba Police apprehends two suspects in connection with attempted murder

SAMBA, Aug 30: In a swift response to a murderous attack, Samba Police, led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Benam Tosh, arrested two suspects involved in an assault on an individual outside his residence within the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Hardeep Singh, also known as Bunty, son of Surinder Singh, hailing from Dadyal, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Samba; and Kamal Kumar, also known as Pana, son of Madan Lal, from Sheikupur Palouta, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Samba.
A case of attempted murder (FIR No. 48/2023) has been registered under sections 307, 336, 341, 323, 504, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Ramgarh Police Station. Ongoing investigations are in progress.
It has been noted that Hardeep Singh, alias Bunty, was previously involved in case FIR No. 25/2021 under sections 451, 427, 382, and 323 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Ramgarh in 2021.
The apprehension was carried out by a police team led by SHO Police Station Ramgarh, Sudesh Kumar, and ASI Kasturi Lal, under the vigilant oversight of SDPO Vijaypur, Rohit Kumar, and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary.
The SSP, Benam Tosh, reiterated a policy of zero leniency towards criminals and miscreants within Samba district. The immediate arrest and detention of those involved in violent crimes, including attempted murder and assaults, stand as a testament to the district's uncompromising stance against criminal activities.
