Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 30: A delegation from the Tibetan Parliament in Exile met with Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu Province, at his office in Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu. The delegation, comprised of Dawa Tsering, Yeshi Dolma, and Tenpa Yarphel, along with Rajinder Sadhotra, General Secretary of Bharat Tibet Sanyog-Manch, and Sanjeev Mangotra, Convener North Zone (BTSM), discussed the various challenges faced by the people of Tibet and the difficulties arising from China's actions in Tibet. Rattan Lal Gupta warmly welcomed the visiting delegation to the National Conference office. The delegation members shared their concerns with Gupta, highlighting issues such as the illegal occupation of Tibet by China, the systematic violation of their fundamental human rights, and the threat to their distinct culture since China's occupation of Tibet. During the interaction, Gupta expressed his understanding of the genuine issues raised by the delegation and emphasized the importance of support from all quarters to address these concerns. The event was attended by several prominent individuals including Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial Secretary of Jammu; Vijay Lochan, Chairman of SC Cell; Sardar Balvinder Singh, Block President of Gandhi Nagar; Pinky Khalsa, District President of Jammu Urban Women's Wing; and others. |
