Kavinder Gupta welcomes Quad leaders as chief guests for Republic Day 2024
9/9/2023 10:09:48 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 9: Kavinder Gupta, senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Deputy Chief Minister, has expressed his warm welcome for the participation of Quad leaders as the Chief Guests at the 2024 Republic Day Parade in the National Capital.
Gupta made these remarks while speaking to the media on the sidelines of a program held under the 'Meri Matti Mera Desh' campaign in Jammu. He led the 'Meri Matti Mera Desh' Campaign at Booth No: 119, Ward No 44 of Nanak Nagar in the Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Kavinder Gupta believes that the gracious presence of Quad leaders will elevate the 2024 Republic Day celebrations to a highly prestigious moment for India and its people. He emphasized that in line with the spirit of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbhakam" (the world is one family), nations around the world are eager to collaborate with India under its global initiative 'One Family One Earth,' and he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.
The former Deputy Chief Minister stated that during the G20 Summit, the prefix "Bharat" in front of PM Modi signifies the beginning of a new era for the nation, and under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will undoubtedly reach new heights in the near future.
Regarding the 'Meri Matti Mera Desh' Campaign, Kavinder Gupta emphasized that it is the duty of every citizen to honor the sacrifices of martyrs. He encouraged proactive participation in the nationwide campaign 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' and noted that paying tribute to the martyrs by visiting their homes and collecting soil from there, to be sent to the National Capital and merged with the soil at 'Amrit Vatika,' is a fitting way to honor their memory.
Prominent figures present at the event included Rekha Mahajan (BJP District President Jammu South), Vinay Gupta (Ex-President BJP Jammu District), Bharat Bhushan (President BJP- Gandhi Nagar Mandal), Narinder Gupta (Vice President-BJP Jammu District South), and other BJP leaders and supporters.
