Additional Secretary Revenue interacts with people, seeks their cooperation in fight against corruption | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Sept 9: In a significant event on the Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K campaign, Additional Secretary Revenue, Muzaffar Ali Malik held a virtual interaction session with the PRIs & general public of Panchayat Halqa Banwat, Tehsil Haveli. The event was attended by key officials of district administration Poonch including Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildar Haveli and Naib Tehsildar Haveli aimed to assess the progress of the anti-corruption campaign at the grassroots level. Malik encouraged participants to openly discuss the issue of the corruption emphasizing that only through dialogue could the full extent of the problem be understood, leading to effective eradication. He urged the public to share suggestions and grievances related to corruption, assuring them that no one, regardless of their position or post, would be immune to legal consequences for engaging in corrupt practices. During the session, Malik also inquired about the accessibility of Revenue services in online mode and the differences in service delivery times between online and offline methods. He encouraged the public to embrace technology and learn from younger generations to access government services conveniently from their homes. Notably, the Additional Secretary Revenue actively listened to the grievances raised by the public and promptly issued directions for their resolution. Malik extended an invitation to the public to collaborate with the administration in making Jammu and Kashmir genuinely 'Bhrashtachar Mukt' (corruption-free). This initiative underscores the commitment of the J&K government to combat corruption and enhance the efficiency of public services. |
