RAJOURI, Sept 9: The District Level Implementation Committee for Mission Youth met here today under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal to deliberate and approve self-employment cases under Tejaswini and Mumkin schemes. These initiatives, integral to Mission Youth’s mission, aim to empower unemployed male and female youth by providing financial assistance to kick-start their entrepreneurial ventures. In a productive meeting, the Committee granted approval for 156 cases under the Mumkin scheme and 57 cases under the Tejaswini scheme. Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal underscored the imperativeness of spreading awareness about such programs among the youth to encourage them to step forward and reap the benefits. The Mumkin cases approved in the meeting included 104 cases for Tata Magic passenger vehicles, 3 cases for Yodha load carriers, 25 cases for Mahindra passenger vehicles and 24 cases for Mahindra Load Carriers. Vikas Kundal emphasized the significance of disseminating information about these schemes, assuring the youth that the government remains steadfast in its commitment to provide comprehensive support for the success of their entrepreneurial endeavors. Mission Youth, a dedicated platform for fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities among young people, takes pride in the Tejaswini scheme. This initiative streamlines access to funding for women, empowering them to initiate or expand their businesses. Among the officers present in the meeting were CPO Mohd Khursheed, Deputy Director Employment, Qazi Qadeer ul Rehman, Auqil Nuvaid DIO, Abdul Raheem DSWO, Project Manager Aabid Hussain, ARTO Pawan Sharma, and LDM, J and K Bank. In a heartwarming conclusion to the meeting, keys of the vehicles were distributed among the beneficiaries under Mumkin, and certificates were presented under Tejaswini by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, further solidifying the commitment to empowering the youth of Rajouri. |
