UDHAMPUR, Sept 15: Pursuant to the directives of the District Development Commissioner, Saloni Rai, who also serves as the Chairman of DLTFC, a District Level Committee Meeting under the JKREGP scheme was convened today. The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia and took place in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
The primary objective of the meeting was to create employment opportunities for the unemployed youth of the district, with J&K KVIB serving as the implementing agency. During the meeting, a total of 50 applications were presented before the DLTFC.
Among the applicants, 12 were absent, one application was rejected, while 37 applications were approved for sponsorship to banks following careful scrutiny and interactions with the applicants.
