CHATROO, Sept 21: In honor of the 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Government Degree College Chatroo organized an enlightening lecture on the theme of "Earning while Learning." This event aimed to highlight the enduring relevance of Gandhi's principles in education and self-sufficiency. The lecture was graced by the presence of Dr. Ved Kumar, the Principal of Government Degree College Chatroo, and featured Dr. Haqnawaz Ahmed as the distinguished speaker.
The lecture, titled "Earning while Learning," was a fitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, emphasizing the importance of his teachings in today's context.
Dr. Haqnawaz Ahmed, the keynote speaker, shed light on Gandhi's vision of "Learning while Learning." He eloquently explained that Gandhi's endeavors, such as the Khadi Movement and the Salt March, were not just political actions but essential steps towards self-sufficiency and economic independence.
