Samba, Sept 21: Date a dedicated effort to uphold cleanliness and environmental responsibility, the Political Science Department of Shri Pt. Prem Nath Dogra College in Samba initiated a Swacchta Abhiyan (cleanliness campaign) to honor Mahatma Gandhi's vision of a 'clean India.' Recognizing the significant role that public parks play in the urban environment, serving as centers for recreation, green spaces, and social interaction for citizens, student volunteers from the college visited 'Veer Bhoomi' and led a cleanliness drive. The Swacchta Abhiyan organized by the Political Science Department aimed to commemorate Gandhi's vision of a clean and hygienic India.
