Hindi Pakhwada Seminar on Hindi in NEP at GDC Paloura Mishriwala

Jammu, Sept 22: The week-long Hindi Pakhwada, organized in collaboration with NCC & NSS, at GDC Paloura Mishriwala in Jammu, concluded with a one-day seminar shedding light on the importance of the Hindi language in the National Education Policy (NEP). Under the commendable leadership of Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht, the Department of Hindi initiated various activities during the Hindi Pakhwada, including Kavita Vachan Pratiyogita, Nibhandh Lekhan Pratiyogita, and Nara Lekhan Pratiyogita. The winners in different categories included Anjali Devi, Vanshika Sharma, Sheetal Katal, Sheetal Sharma, Vishu Angral, Lipakshi, Diksha Pawar, Arti Devi, and Kiran Devi.
The highlight of the Hindi Pakhwada was the one-day seminar, where Prof. BB Sharma (Retired Principal) and Prof. Vijay Sharma (Retired Professor) served as resource persons. They provided valuable insights to the students about the significance of the Hindi language in the context of the National Education Policy (NEP).
The seminar witnessed the presence of distinguished guests and faculty members, including Prof. Geetanjali Multani, Prof. Narayan Dutt, Prof. Anoop Bhagat, Prof. Moni Mehra, Prof. Sapan Sharma, Prof. Joginder Kumar, Prof. Shikha Bhasin, Prof. Kusha Sharma, Prof. Archana Sharma, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Preeti Rachna, Prof. Chinmei Sharma, Librarian Renuka Jasrotia, and Prof. Deepika Gupta.
The formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shiksha, and the entire event was meticulously organized by Dr. Shiksha and Prof. Mridhu Mahajan. This seminar served as a platform to underscore the significance of Hindi as a language in the evolving landscape of education and policy, aligning with the NEP’s objectives.
