9/22/2023 10:55:26 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 22: In the year 1975, the vibrant residents of Ram Ganesh Gadkari Path, Savarkar Road, and the surrounding areas united to establish the Youth Ganoshotsav Mandal, which this year proudly enters its 49th year of existence.
During its initial years, the Mandal set up an exquisitely adorned Ganesh mandap on Gadkari Path. For seven days, the fervor of Ganeshotsav was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and joy.
One of the most iconic contributions of the Youth Ganeshotsav Mandal to Dombivli city is the introduction of a traditional immersion procession of Lord Ganesha, accompanied by the lively beats of Puneri dhol and the melodious rhythm of taal. Devotees from various wards of Dombivli city come together to participate joyously in this procession. As the board approaches its 50th year, preparations are underway to make it a memorable milestone.
Throughout the week of Ganeshotsav, the Youth Ganeshotsav Mandal organizes an array of programs and activities. These include a Blood Donation Camp, Satyanarayana Pooja and Katha, Bhajan and Kirtan sessions, Music evenings, painting competitions for children, Elocution competitions, Dance contests, and various sports competitions.
Among the notable initiatives are social workshops, tree plantation drives, book distributions, promise competitions, blood donation camps, health camps, and exercise programs.
Members of the Youth Ganeshotsav Mandal actively participate in these activities, contributing to the betterment of society.
The Mandal spares no effort in enhancing the vibrancy of the festivities. Live telecasts, eye-catching decorations, t-shirts, banners, and dazzling lighting arrangements all come together to create a radiant atmosphere.
The sky is lit up with colorful fireworks, further adding to the attraction of the Mandal’s celebrations.
In today’s digital age, the Youth Ganeshotsav Mandal harnesses the power of social media to promote and publicize Ganeshotsav. They utilize social platforms to raise awareness about societal changes, share event information, showcase Ganeshotsav films, and create awareness about various social services.
The Youth Ganeshotsav Mandal sets an exemplary standard in excellence and social service through its Ganeshotsav events.
