Folk Theatre workshop in progress

Reasi, Sept 23: Folk theatre workshop for 10 days in progress at GZSM Degree College Reasi. The workshop was successfully organized by Triple “A” Performing Arts Reasi in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi ( National Akademi of music, dance and drama).
On the 4th day of the workshop experts create scene work, improvisation, group exercises on imparting training on how to improve listening skills, cooperation skills and how to practice character and conflict. The participants create own stories and performed group wise through improvisations and acting exercises with working on their body movements and voice quality, Set designing etc. Staff & students witnesses the performance of the participants.
About 35 students were selected in the workshop were Autal Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Avinish thappa, Mohd Munir, Akshay Kumar, Sajid Saleem, Mohinder Kumar, Pallvi thappa, Garima dogra, Priya Devi, Kajal Thappa, Isha Devi, Priya Kumari, Samriti, Palak Atri, Nilakshi Devi, Priyarka Devi, Vasudha Rajput, Anjali Devi, Priya Kumari, Akashay Kumar, Vikrant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ambika Soni, Nidhi Singh Thakur, Shivani Nag, Anshu Parotra, Vishali Rajput and Khushi Devi. SNA trained expert, Mr Shadab expressed that this workshop is one of its kind in the district and participants are getting this kind of experience for the first time in their life and he is expecting some extraordinary talent comes out from this workshop besides giving an opportunity to the participants to get acquainted with the age old cultural traditions, costumes, rituals and languages.
