KHOUR, Sept 23: "In a commendable effort, the NSS unit of GDC Khour recently organized a cleanliness drive as part of the 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' initiative. NSS volunteers enthusiastically took part in the initiative, visiting their adopted village, Naryana. Under the watchful eye of Village Sarpanch Smt. Sharda Devi, they diligently collected plastic and wet waste from the vicinity of the lotus pond.
The dedicated volunteers who actively participated in this Swachhta Abhiyan included Gourav Singh, Sweety Manhas, Supriya Devi, Honey Choudhary, Sourav Singh, Riya Sharma, Riya Bhagat, and Jabee Singh.
This impactful program was executed under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Gurvinder Kour and received unwavering support from the College's Principal, Prof. (Dr.) T.K. Sharma. The initiative not only underscores their commitment to cleanliness but also demonstrates their dedication to community service." |
