46 grams of heroin recovered by Police station Janipur Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 23: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 46 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PS Janipur. A police team of PS Janipur led by SDPO West Vikram Singh assisted by SHO PS Janipur Inspr Sikander Singh while on naka duty at Buta Nagar Paloura area rounded up a suspected person. During search 46 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of accused later identified as Rinku Massih S/o Naku Massih R/o Gurdaspur, Punjab A/P Sainik Colony Jammu and Ajay Kumar S/o Kala Ram R/o Graint, Amb Gharota, Jammu. In this regard, Case FIR No. 101/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act got registered at PS Janipur Jammu. Further investigation of the case is going on. Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain. Jammu Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace.
