Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 25: BJP senior leader and District Development Council (DDC) member, Suresh Sharma, Called on Director Education , Jammu and took up the issue of the scarcity of teaching staff in various schools falling in Chhamb assembly constituency. Suresh Sharma, who meet the Director at his office in Jammu, brought it into his notice that a number of schools namely Govt . Higher Secondary Schools in Nardi bala, Kathar and Chowki Choura don't have adequate number of lecturers. Similarly there is shortage of Head Masters in Govt. High Schools in Maira Maindran, Ghar, Barui, Gagal, Dhanna Chappdi. In these schools, there is also in adequate number of Master Grades and teachers. As a result, a large number of students of Maira mandrian and Chowki Choura blocks are made to suffer. Suresh Sharma further told the Director that in Chhamb assembly constituency, there are large percentage of people belonging to poor sections and the parents have only option to get their wards admitted in government schools for education and in absence of in adequate teaching staff, the students cannot get proper education, which is a very serious issue. He stressed upon immediately take up effective steps and fill up all the vacant posts for the benefit of the people. The Director gave a patient hearing to what was narrated to him and assured that every step will be taken to post the required staff in the mentioned schools, adding that government is always at the service of the people. |
