NHPC's regional office in Jammu concludes Hindi Pakhwada 2023 with enthusiasm

JAMMU, Sept 29: The closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2023 was held at NHPC's Regional Office in Narwal, Jammu, on September 29, 2023. The event was organized under the leadership of Shri Bikram Singh, Executive Director of the Regional Office, Jammu.
During the ceremony, Shri Bikram Singh, Executive Director, encouraged everyone to use Hindi more extensively in official work. He emphasized the importance of motivating colleagues to increase the use of Hindi and suggested that working in Hindi should not be confined to specific areas but should be expanded across all functional domains. He stressed the need for a continuous and collective effort to strengthen the resolve to work in Hindi.
The event also recognized and celebrated the achievements of participants who excelled in various competitions organized during Hindi Pakhwara 2023. Ms. Amisha Abrol, the daughter of NHPC employee Shri Naresh Kumar, was awarded for her outstanding performance in Hindi in her 10th-grade examinations. Additionally, various departments of the regional office were honored for their exceptional contributions to the promotion of the official language.
Hindi Pakhwada, organized by the Regional Office, Jammu, spanned from September 14, 2023, to September 29, 2023. It featured a series of activities and competitions, including Sabadwali (word formation), noting/drafting, Shrut lekh (dictation), kavya path (poetry reading), typing competitions, and a book exhibition. These events witnessed active participation from a large number of personnel, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment to promoting Hindi.
The closing ceremony was attended by notable figures including Shri P. Sathyamurthi, GM (HR), Shri Rajan Jairath, GM (C), as well as other officers and employees. The event marked a successful conclusion to Hindi Pakhwada 2023, reaffirming the commitment of NHPC's Regional Office, Jammu, to the promotion and preservation of the Hindi language.
