JAMMU, Oct 1: In honor of Gandhi Jayanti, the Department of Library and Information Science at Government Degree College Khour organized an engaging book review competition centered around Mahatma Gandhi's iconic autobiography, "My Experiments with Truth." The competition, held on September 30th, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in their 3rd and 5th semesters, representing various academic backgrounds.
The event provided a platform for these young scholars to immerse themselves in the profound teachings and life experiences shared by Mahatma Gandhi within the pages of his autobiography. "My Experiments with Truth" serves as a chronicle of Gandhi's personal journey towards self-discovery, underscored by his unwavering commitment to principles of non-violence, truth, and social justice.
Participants in the competition displayed a deep understanding of the book's content, with their book reviews showcasing their ability to critically analyze and critique literary works. Each review presented a unique perspective, shedding light on various facets of Gandhi's life and philosophy.
