RAJOURI, Oct 2: Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district has arrested a shopkeeper after recovery of consignment of illegally smuggler liquor from his shop.
Police said that a team headed by SHO Rajouri Aejaz Ahmed Wani under the supervision of Deputy SP Headquarter, Mudassir Hussain raided a shop at Bathuni alongside Jammu Rajouri Poonch NHW in Rajouri.
Raid was conducted at the shop of Chaman Lal son of Bhaghat Ram resident of Bathuni.
67 bottles of illegally smuggled liquor were recovered from his shop which have been seized and the accused selling the liquor has been arrested.
A case in FIR 461/23 U/Ss 48 (a) excise act has been registered against the accused. |
