The campaign, inaugurated by BJP Chief J P Nadda in Delhi, is aimed at establishing deeper engagement with marginalized communities. During this initiative, BJP workers and leaders will visit approximately 75,000 slums, 7,500 hostels, and various other bastis (settlements) to inform residents about the numerous schemes launched by the central and state governments. He stressed the crucial role of BJP workers in ensuring that these welfare schemes reach the most marginalized sections of society. Suri also discussed significant SC Welfare Schemes, including the Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship, which provides vital financial assistance for higher education. He mentioned the establishment of the Scheduled Castes Development Corporation (SCDC), which focuses on encouraging self-employment and skill development. Additionally, a Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes has been set up to offer concessional finance to SC entrepreneurs. During the campaign, Raman Suri and others visited more than 50 households, contacted over 100 people, including children, and distributed notebooks, pencils, and refreshments to them. Suri shared insights with residents about the establishment of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), which provides financial support for income-generating activities. He also discussed the positive impact of ST Welfare Schemes such as Van Bandhu Kalyan Yojana, Tribal Sub Plan (TSP), and Eklavya Model Residential Schools. Community members attested to the positive transformation brought about by these schemes, leading to an overall improvement in the quality of life for tribal communities.
