J&K climber Shilpa Charak wins silver medal at North Zone Sport Climbing Championship | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 2: On the second day of the 27th North Zone Sport Climbing Championship in Delhi, Shilpa Charak from Jammu and Kashmir secured a Silver medal in lead climbing in the women's category. This marks her second medal in the competition, as she had previously won a silver medal in speed climbing the day before. The ongoing championship has seen impressive performances by J&K climbers, with Shilpa Charak's Silver medal being the fifth medal for the state. In the men's bouldering competition, Arun Deep has made it to the final round, competing against five national and international climbers. Arun Deep currently holds the top position, making him a strong contender for a podium finish. Kashish Bharti has also advanced to the final round in Lead climbing and has qualified for the final round in Bouldering, competing against six climbers. Ayaana secured the fourth spot in the final round of eight climbers in lead climbing in the Sub Junior Girls category, demonstrating commendable performance. The final rounds of the competition are scheduled to take place tomorrow, where these talented climbers will aim for further success in their respective categories. |
