Modi Govt focused on J&K's comprehensive development: Kavinder Gupta | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 2: Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, emphasized that the BJP-led government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to achieving all-round development in Jammu and Kashmir. He made these remarks during the inauguration of renovation and improvement work on a pond in Chhani Himmat, with an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crore. During the inauguration, Rajkumar Tarkhan, former Chairman of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Corporator of Ward No. 51 in Channi Himmat, was also present. Kavinder Gupta pointed out that unlike other political parties such as the National Conference (NC), People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Congress, which often employ divisive tactics to seek votes, the BJP has chosen the path of development to gain popularity among the masses. He highlighted the BJP's commitment to serving society without any bias based on region, religion, or linguistic distinctions. He emphasized the party's motto of "Sabka Saath Sabka Vishwas" (Together with All, Trust of All). Gupta urged people to provide overwhelming support to the BJP in the upcoming elections to ensure the party can continue its development initiatives with confidence and increased momentum. He praised the unprecedented momentum of development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370, noting that no other party has the will and determination to match the BJP's commitment to development. After the inauguration, Kavinder Gupta interacted with local residents, listening to their concerns related to civic amenities. He assured them that their issues would be addressed promptly by taking them up with the relevant authorities.
