| GDC Ramgarh organizes 'Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0' | | |  Early Times Report
RAMGARH, Oct 3: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-Prabha of Government Degree College Ramgarh organized 'Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0' on the theme 'Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat' under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The event was organized under the guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the worthy Principal of the college. The Principal of the College said that this run aims to include the habit of walking and running in the people in the quest for better health and fitness.
Dr. Shamsher Lal, NSS Programme Officer, he briefed the volunteers regarding the importance of running and cleanliness and encouraged them to always keep the surroundings clean.
About 70 students from the college participated in the unity Run with great zeal along with Staff
of the College. All the participants picked up garbage from the running path and cleaned the road. They collected the waste and it was disposed off on a designated site.
The Principal of the college also encouraged the organizing team for organizing such events in future. |
