JAMMU, Oct 7: The Shri Ram Universal School (TSUSJ) recently hosted a heartwarming ceremony at the Shri Sanskruti auditorium to celebrate Grandparents' Day in honor of the kindergarten students' beloved grandparents. The ceremony was graced by Brig Anil Gupta (Retd), a distinguished member of the BCCI Sub-Committee for the administration of JKCA, who was invited as the Chief Guest. The festivities commenced with the lighting of a lamp by Brig Anil Gupta, accompanied by some grandparents and members of the School Management Committee. In a thoughtful gesture, the Chief Guest received a potted plant from Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman of TSUSJ, and Rajni Gupta, Director of TSUSJ, symbolizing the school's commitment to promoting a green policy.
Col VK Sharma (Retd), the school's Principal, extended a warm welcome to the attendees and highlighted the invaluable role that grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren. He emphasized that the bond between grandparents and grandchildren remains a vital source of love, knowledge, and experience in today's rapidly changing world.
