UDHAMPUR, Oct 7: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today chaired the meeting of Regional Transport Authority (RTA) here in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
SSP Dr. Vinod Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, ARTO Romesh Kumar attended the meeting.
After a comprehensive discussion, the Regional Transport Authority approved 111 new route permits including 6 for Buses, 31 for Mini Buses, 20 for Four-wheeler Magic vehicles and 54 Contract Carriages, all operating within the jurisdiction of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of promptly implementing these approved route permits while maintaining strict vigil to prevent overloading, overcharging and irregular vehicular activities.
She also underscored the necessity for collaborative efforts among relevant agencies to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. |
