PTI Mir Yasir, with his enthusiasm and motivation, inspired students at the college to actively participate in this invigorating activity. These aerobic exercises not only promise a stress-free environment but also contribute significantly to the overall well-being of the students, aiding them in their academic pursuits. Perhaps most importantly, they play a crucial role in promoting mental fitness, steering students away from drug addiction, chronic stress, and related issues. A noteworthy aspect is that these activities are known to boost one's mood, fostering positivity and mental resilience. Prof. Lakshmi Sohan, the Convener of NMBA, provided an insightful introduction highlighting the manifold benefits of these engaging exercises. Dr. (Prof.) Raj Shree Dhar, the college's Principal, applauded the commendable efforts of the NMBA committee and the dedicated PTI, Mir Yasir. The entire program was skillfully coordinated by Prof. Lakshmi Sohan, with the invaluable support of organizing members, including Prof. Shahima Akhter (Head of Department - Environmental Science), Prof. Mohammad Rafi (NSS Program Officer), and Dr. Deepika Mehra (Head of Department - Dogri). This initiative not only underscores the commitment of GDC Purmandal College to the holistic development of its students but also showcases the importance of physical fitness and mental well-being in promoting a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. |
