| 140 psychotropic capsules recovered by Police Post Pounichak Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 140 psychotropic capsules was recovered from an accused person in the jurisdiction of PP Pounichak. A police team of PP Pounichak led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor assisted by SHO PS Domana Inspr Kunal Singh Jamwal and I/C PP Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria while on naka duty rounded up a suspected person Sachin kumar S/o Ashok Kumar R/o Sari Rakwalan ,Pounichak. During search 140 psychotropic capsules(70 Diazepam and 70 phenargan) recovered from the possession of accused.
In this regard, Case FIR No. under relevant sections of NDPS Act got registered at PS Domana Jammu and accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
