Jammu, Oct 11: The Jammu Joint Students' Federation (JJSF) held an impressive joining program at GGM Science College Jammu on the 11th of October. The program was organized by Keshav Malhotra, the JJSF Ex-President of GGM Science College. The Chief Guest of the program was Pushvinder Singh Manhas, the State President of JJSF, who was accompanied by Atul Sudan, Vice President of JJSF, and other key members including Harpreet Singh Lucky, Rahul Sharma, Amit Verma, Nishakar Sharma, Abhisek Sharma, Raghu Nandan, Sagar Sudan, and more. Keshav Malhotra, JJSF, delivered the welcome address and spoke about JJSF's history of leading various agitations against successive governments to address discrimination against Jammu. He assured all the college students that JJSF would work alongside them to champion the welfare of the student community. Pushvinder Singh Manhas, State President of JJSF, addressed the students and emphasized that JJSF would raise issues concerning students and work to resolve them. He highlighted the numerous issues facing students and youth today, stressing the need to address them. Manhas called upon the Lieutenant Governor to take significant measures to combat the rising unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir, advocating for transparent recruitment processes. He also urged the LG Administration to complete the infrastructure of newly established degree colleges throughout the region to alleviate student suffering. Adv. Pushvinder Singh Manhas announced the establishment of a college unit, with Bharat Verma as President, and Aryan Sharma, Ritik Verma, and Manish Khullar as Vice Presidents. The unit includes General Secretaries Gourav Sharma and Kavi Partap Singh Arora, Working President Vansh Johal, Secretaries Jaswinder Singh, Dishant Jamwal, Remanshu Sharma, and Nakul Verma, Girls Secretaries Deepangi Raina, Vasundhra Sharma, Khushboo Bharti, Deepanshi Jamwalia, Joint Secretary Kanaiya Sharma, Organization Secretary Vansh Sharma, Press Secretary Rishav Singh, and Spokespersons Sakshi Bhat, Bhoomi Handoo, Dinesh Kumar, Dhruv Sharma, Neetu Sharma. The unit also comprises Executive Members Ramandeep, Gourav Charak, Harsh Kumar, Priyanshu Charak, Anuj Sodhi, Lakshdeep Bangotra, Rahul Kumar, Arushi Manhas, Pallvi, Mehak Devi, Tanvi Sharma, Bhavana Sushil, Diljeet Singh, Sujal Balgotra, Avinash Thappa, Akhil Sharma, Danish Verma, Keshav Sharma. After the program, students held a grand procession within the college premises. |
