| DC inspects revenue record; discusses Law & order issues in Thathri | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Oct 19: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan paid an inspection of the Revenue Complex in Thathri and interacted with the officers of Sub Divisional administration.
During his visit in the Revenue Complex, the DC inspected the revenue record of Thathri tehsil and asked the revenue officers to encourage digital platforms for issuing revenue extracts and certificates for greater transparency, efficiency and accountability.
DC also reviewed the law-and-order issues in the Sub division Thathri in a meeting with civil and police officials. The DC reiterated that peace, harmony and public support are prerequisites for inclusive development. While reviewing the drugs menace in the Sub Division, the DC expressed satisfaction on the efforts of the sub divisional authorities in combating drug menace and urged the officials and sub-divisional magistrate to keep an eye on illegal sale/ purchase of psychotropic drugs by chemists and other drug peddlers. Responsibility lies on the sub divisional authorities to stop smuggling of drugs by increasing vigilance and prompt action, DC told the officers during the meeting.
DC asked all the officers in the subdivision Thathri to ensure all the essential services remain intact as per the earlier directions during the ensuing winter. He also reviewed the traffic congestion issue in Thathri Town and directed to manage the traffic and discourage roadside parking of vehicles in the town. He also directed the civil and police officers to join hands for removing illegal encroachments in the sub division. |
