JAMMU, Oct 19: In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, students from St. Xavier Convent Senior Secondary School, Barnai, have clinched multiple gold medals in district-level inter-school competitions. Their achievements stand as a testament to the school's commitment to excellence in sports and physical education.
Vanshika Thakur, a brilliant student in Class VIII at St. Xavier, emerged as a shining star at the District-level Inter-School Chess Tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports. The tournament took place in Ramban, where Vanshika secured the coveted gold medal with her exceptional chess skills. Her triumph reflects not only her personal dedication but also the school's rigorous chess training program.
Saransh Panotra and Anurag Bhagat, both students in Class IX at St. Xavier, demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the art of yoga. They clinched gold medals in the district-level Inter-School Yoga Competition held in Reasi, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports. Saransh and Anurag's outstanding performances showcased their flexibility, strength, and mental discipline, bringing accolades to their school.
