Jammu, Oct 30: Civil Defence, Jammu, conducted a one-day awareness program at the Bone & Joints Hospital, Government Medical College, Jammu. The event was organized under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP) Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu. The program aimed to educate security personnel about fundamental First Aid, CPR, Choking, Firefighting, and drug addiction awareness. Civil Defence experts shared their knowledge with the hospital’s security personnel, providing valuable insights into these essential topics. During the program, the Civil Defence team conducted practical demonstrations on the subjects, enhancing the participants’ understanding. The primary objective of the awareness program was to equip security personnel with preventive measures during both natural and man-made disasters, ensuring the safety and well-being of all. The event saw the participation of 60 security personnel from the hospital. Dr. Sanjeev Arorra, Medical Superintendent of Bone & Joints Hospital in Jammu, expressed his gratitude to the Civil Defence team for conducting this informative and educational awareness camp. Notable individuals present at the event included Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden of Civil Defence Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Deputy Chief Warden of Civil Defence Jammu, Dr. Sajeev Kumar Gupta, Head of Department at B&J Hospital GMC Jammu, Nisar Ahmed Shah, MD of the Security Association Medical College in Jammu, Ram Paul Khajuria, Retired Captain and Security Officer at GMC Jammu, and Sh. Ram Dayal Saini, Sub-Inspector Incharge of Training at Civil Defence. |
