| Theft case solved by Gandhi Nagar Police | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: On 24.10.2023, a complaint was logded at PS Gandhi Nagar by one person namely Shashi Kumar S/O Dheeraj Kumar R/O 94/A 2nd Extn Gandhi Nagar stating that some unknown person stole mobile phone alongwith 15000/- cash from the room of the complainant.
In this regard, case FIR No. 254/2023 U/S 454/380 IPC was registered at PS Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Gandhi Nagar led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assited by SHO PS Gandhi Nagar Inspr Pankaj Sharma did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up two suspected persons later identified as 1. Arun Bhandari S/o Ravi kumar R/o Valmiki Colony and 2. Mukal Mattu S/o Manga Mattu R/o Valmiki colony. During questioning accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen mobile was recovered from their possession.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
