Police arrest thief, recover stolen eterns | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 1: In a significant breakthrough, the Miran Sahib Police have successfully cracked a burglary case involving the theft of an Air Conditioner and two Stabilizers. The case, registered under FIR No. 157/2023 U/S 457/380/IPC, has seen remarkable progress with the arrest of the main suspect and the recovery of the stolen items. On October 28, 2023, the police received a written complaint reporting the theft of an Air Conditioner and two Stabilizers, sparking an immediate investigation. A dedicated police team led by Inspector Bopinder Singh, the Station House Officer of P/S Miran Sahib, and assisted by PSI Maroof Ahmed, worked tirelessly under the vigilant supervision of SDPO R S Pura, Sh. Nikhil Gogna, and the overall guidance of SP Headquarter Jammu, Sh. Ramnish Gupta JKPS. The investigation, which included the questioning of several suspects, yielded a major breakthrough when one of the suspects, identified as Rohit Kumar, also known as "Binny," son of Satish Kumar and a resident of Darsopur, Miran Sahib, confessed to his involvement in the burglary case. Subsequently, acting on Rohit Kumar's disclosure, the stolen items, including the Air Conditioner, Stabilizer, and copper wire, were successfully recovered. The swift and diligent efforts of the Miran Sahib Police have resulted in the arrest of the prime suspect and the retrieval of the stolen property, marking a significant victory in the fight against crime in the region.
