| Theft case solved, stolen gold ornaments recovered by BPP Sai Kalan Jammu | | | Jammu, Nov 2: An information was received at BPP Sai Kalan regarding theft in Radha Krishna Mandir at village Sai Kalan in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Arnia. On this case FIR No. 82/2023 U/S 457/380 IPC got registered at PS Arnia and investigation started. After this special police teams of BPP Sai Kalan led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO PS Arnia Inspr Deepak Katoch and I/C BPP Sai Kalan ASI Karan Singh did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up one suspect namely Subash Chander S/o Bachan Lal R/o Sai Kalan Dewar Camp. During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen items were recovered from his possession. Moreover a stolen nose ring was recovered from the possession of a gold smith whom the accused had sold the said stolen ornament. Thus section 411 IPC was added in the above case.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
