JAMMU, Nov 3: In an exciting development, Shivani Charak, a top-ranked sport climber of India hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, is gearing up for a chance to secure a place in the Paris Olympics-2024. Shivani has already made her mark as the first female athlete from J&K to compete in the Asian Games in the last 75 years, representing our Union Territory with distinction at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
To enhance her prospects for the upcoming challenge, Shivani Charak is all set to participate in the Asian Qualifier in Indonesia, scheduled from the 9th to the 12th of November 2023. This event offers four Olympic quota places in Sport Climbing for the Paris Olympics-2024.
In her pursuit of excellence and to be at her best during the Asian Qualifier, Shivani Charak departed for Delhi to receive training and hone her skills on international standard. |
