District Police organizes walkathon and Gram Sabha to observe Vigilance Awareness Week

REASI, Nov 4: As part of the ongoing series of events to observe "Vigilance Awareness Week," District Police Reasi organized a walkathon. The event saw the participation of Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, Neeraj Padyar-JKPS, and SHO P/S Reasi, Inspector Vijay Sharma, under the guidance of SSP Reasi, Amit Gupta-JKPS.
The walkathon, which included a large number of students and NCC cadets, followed a route passing through DC Office Reasi, Thapa Chowk, and culminating at Bus Stand Reasi.
The purpose of the walkathon was to raise awareness about the importance of preventing corruption and promoting transparency within the administration. Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, Neeraj Padyar-JKPS, emphasized that the event served as a proactive step towards creating a more vigilant and ethical working environment within the region. Such initiatives play a crucial role in building a corruption-free society.
Additionally, SDPO Mahore, Sh. Chhabil Singh-JKPS, organized a Gram Sabha to observe Vigilance Awareness Week-2023 at Bagga, Mahore, which was attended by prominent citizens. The Gram Sabha highlighted the harmful effects of corruption and stressed the importance of bringing transparency, accountability, and integrity at the individual and community levels.
Similarly, SHO P/S Chassana/Ransoo organized Gram Sabhas to observe "Vigilance Awareness Week-2023" at Channa Kotli areas of Chassana and Ransoo. The events saw the participation of prominent citizens, shopkeepers, and drivers, emphasizing the significance of combating corruption and promoting transparency and integrity.
