Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: A one-day awareness program was conducted at Central Sanskrit University, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, organized by Civil Defence, Jammu, under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Jammu. During the program, students were educated about basic First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), choking management, fire-fighting techniques, and the dangers of drug addiction by Civil Defence experts. The Civil Defence team also provided practical demonstrations on these topics. The primary objective of the awareness program was to inform students about preventive measures during both natural and man-made disasters. The program witnessed the participation of 80 students from the university. Professor Dhar Pathik, Director of Central Sanskrit University Campus, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Civil Defence team for organizing the awareness camp. Key attendees at the event included Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden of Civil Defence, Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Deputy Chief Warden of Civil Defence, Jammu, Professor Joginder Dixhit (Coordinator) of Central Sanskrit University Campus, along with other staff members from Central Sanskrit University. |
