JAMMU, Nov 10: Drug De-addiction and Rehabilitation Cell (DDRC) of Govt Degree College R. S. Pura organized a lecture on the theme 'Role of Educational Institutions in Combating Illicit Substance Abuse'. The event was organized under patronage of worthy principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat, Principal and supervision of Prof. Balwan Singh, Convener, DDRC. Prof. Balwan Singh, Convener, DDRC gave formal welcome address in which he welcomed all the attendees. Jagjit Singh from National Management Health Centre, Udhampur was the resourse person. He talked about the role of Educational Institutions in combating illicit substance abuse. Principal of the college also motivated the students to keep away from this menace and appreciated the effort of the organizing committees. Dr. Anuradha presented formal vote of thanks for concluding the event. Dr. Chanchal Angral, Dr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Prof. Shifali Abrol, Prof Neeti Chhibber, Prof. Jugal Kishore, Prof. Shelly Kalsi, Prof. Neelam Kumari, Prof. Esha Abrol, Prof. Meeshu Pandita, and Prof. Renu Sharma were also present in the event. |
