| Apni Party has a clear vision for women empowerment in J&K: Dilshada Shaheen | | |  Early Times Report
Srinagar, Nov 9: The provincial president of Apni Party’s Women Wing, Dilshada Shaheen, has said that Apni Party has a clear and unwavering agenda for the empowerment of women in Jammu and Kashmir. She said that if the party gets a public mandate in the upcoming assembly elections, it will work towards the social, educational, economic, and political empowerment of women in J&K, a press note issued here said.
According to the press note, Shaheen made these remarks during her address at a party convention held in Sangarwani, in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, yesterday. The convention was attended by female party workers and a significant number of women from the locality.
On the occasion, Dilshada Shaheen urged party workers from the Women’s Wing to increase their political activities and public outreach to further strengthen the party. She said, “One of the core objectives of our party is to ensure the well-being of women in Jammu and Kashmir, a gender that has endured significant sufferings due to the conflict situations in J&K over the years.
It is of utmost importance that women are granted full access to their constitutional rights, paving the way for their empowerment.
To achieve this, we need to strengthen the party’s presence in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Besides Dilshada Shaheen, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included Provincial Secretary Kashmir (Women Wing) Afroza Ji, DDC Meema Ji, DDC Mansha Ji, District President Pulwama G. M. Mir, District Youth President Pulwama Tajalah Andrabi, and others. The event was organized by Mansha Ji. |
