Vishwa Bharati Public School celebrates Diwali, Children's Day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 10: Students and staff members of Vishwa Bharati Public School Jammu showed a lot of zeal for celebrating Diwali as well as Childern's Day. Students participated in various activities like Rangoli, Diya and Toran making. All the four houses of the school - Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram and Vishwa House made beautiful rangolies. The best rangoli was made by Sundaram House students namely - Sanchi from 9 th B, Manya from 9 th A, Ashmita - 9 th B, Manisha from 8 th A. Diya and toran was a part of class room activities. Students talked about the significance of the festival- the triumph of good over evil. Speaking on the occasion, Madam Principal Annapurna Koul sensitized the students about the ill effects of crackers. She also shared the guideline on being safe while bursting them. Diwali Pooja was done by the school management members Prof. A.N. Sadhu Chairman Academic Committee Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Intuition, Dr.S.K.Koul, Secretary Vishwa Bharati J&K Units, Yoginder Koul, Member Vishwa Bharati and B.L. Saraf Member Vishwa Bharati, teachers and students. The day concluded with the distribution of sweets and gifts. |
