| 13 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Police | | |

JAMMU, Nov 11: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PP Pouni Chak and PP Sidhra acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 13 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
11 Vehicles i.e 10 Vehicles without Registration Nos and One Tipper bearing Registration No JK02CE-2939, by PP Pouni Chak.
Two Vehicles i.e One Tipper bearing Registration No JK02CT-7238 and one Dumper bearing Registration No JK02CU-7769, by PP Sidhra.
The recoveries were made by I/C PP Pouni Chak SI Ashish Sharma and I/C PP Sidhra PSI Arun Kumar in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
