Samba police produces challan in kidnapping, molestation of minor girl student | | | Early Times Report SAMBA, Nov 20: In a decisive move against crime targeting women, the Samba Police, under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Benam Tosh, has swiftly produced a challan in the court of law against an accused involved in the kidnapping and molestation of a minor girl student. The accused, identified as Balbir Singh, son of Karan Singh, resident of Mohar Garh, presently in judicial custody at District Jail Kathua, faces charges under FIR No.217/2023 u/s 363, 376 IPC, and 4 POCSO Act. The police team, led by SHO Police Station Samba Daljeet Singh and PSI Shakti Singh, conducted a thorough investigation under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary. The challan has been submitted in the Principal Sessions Court Samba for judicial determination.
