Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: In a proactive move, Civil Defence, Jammu, conducted a one-day awareness program at NCC Camp Nagrota, under the supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. The program aimed to impart essential knowledge about First Aid, CPR, Choking, Firefighting, and other emergency rescue methods to NCC cadets. The awareness initiative included informative sessions and live demonstrations on various topics related to disaster management. The Civil Defence experts actively engaged with the participants, providing practical insights into preventive measures during both natural and man-made disasters. Approximately 100 NCC cadets, including female students from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir, actively participated in the program. The event took place within the premises of the NCC Camp Nagrota, receiving praise from Col. R.D Sharma, Camp Commander, for its significant contribution to educating the youth on emergency response measures. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, and Mazamal Hussain, S.I Incharge Trainings Civil Defence, were among the dignitaries present at the occasion. Col.
