Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: Students from DPS Jammu, Nagbani, and Katra recently embarked on an enlightening journey into the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir with a visit to the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex. This educational outing, curated in collaboration with the Department of Archives, Archaeology, and Museums, coincided with the ongoing World Heritage Week celebrations in Jammu. Guided by Kuwarani Ritu Singh, the students had the opportunity to explore the Mubarak Mandi exhibition, which showcased rare artifacts and offered insights into the opulent lives and traditions of the region's royal lineage. The exhibition covered various aspects, including Royal Weddings, Armoury, Coinage, Jewelry, and preserved rare archives, providing a rich tapestry of the area's history. The visit aimed not only to impart knowledge but also to instill a sense of pride and connection with the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir among the students. The rare artifacts and historical exhibits garnered admiration from the young visitors, fostering a deeper appreciation for the region's rich history. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson, commended the students' enthusiasm for exploring and learning about their cultural legacy.
