CHATROO, Nov 23: Government Degree College Chatroo took a significant step towards promoting civic awareness by organizing an insightful program on Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties, themed "My Constitution My Pride." The event, held under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Ved Kumar, Principal of the college, aimed to enlighten students and staff members about their roles as responsible citizens.
The program featured an extension lecture by Dr. Haqnawaz Ahmad, a lecturer in Political Science at GDC Chatroo. Dr. Haqnawaz provided valuable insights into the significance of Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties, emphasizing their role in achieving social justice.
The initiative underscores the institution's commitment to fostering civic awareness beyond academic curricula. Dr. Haqnawaz's lecture aimed to instill a sense of civic duty and responsibility among the students and staff, encouraging them to actively contribute to society.
