| 15 grams of heroin recovered by Police station Bakshi Nagar | | |

Jammu, Nov 23: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 15 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PS Bakshi Nagar.
A police team of PS Bakshi Nagar led by SDPO West Vikram Singh assisted by SHO PS Bakshi Nagar Inspr Rakesh Sharma and I/C PP Sarwal SI Mushtaq Ahmed while on naka duty near Punjabi Brothers Rehari rounded up a suspect. On search, 15 grams of heroin was recovered from him.
In this regard a case FIR under relevant sections got registered in PS Bakshi Nagar and accused was arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as :- namely Vikas Mani @ Viku S/o Surinder lal Mani R/o shakti nagar Jammu
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
