Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 25: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Saturday reiterated that the government of India must return the power projects to J&K. This he said while addressing a massive one day workers convention at Sumbal Sonawari. The convention was organized by In Charge Constituency Sumbal Sonawari Hilal Akbar Lone. General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, North Zone President Javed Dar, Senior leaders Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Former MP Sharief Ud Din Shariq, also addressed the workers on the occasion. Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri, Irshad Kar, Khawaja Yaqoob Wani, Nazir Malik, Nasir Lone and party's local unit functionaries & office bearers were present on the occasion. Accusing successive governments at the Centre of plotting to weaken the National Conference, Omar Abdullah said abrogating Article 370 would not have been possible if JKNC was in power. "It is a bitter truth that August 5, 2019 would not have been possible if National Conference had not been weakened. When did the people of Delhi not try to weaken the NC? From 1953 until today, they have been continuously trying to find a way to destroy it," he said.
