| DLL organizes career counselling workshop | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 28: Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu organized one day workshop for Arts students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari today.
The workshop was held under the overall supervision of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu. The workshop started with the welcome address by Madam Puja Abrol, Coordinator of the workshop. She appreciated the efforts of career counselling cell for organizing career counselling programmes for outgoing students of the school every year. From the last 7 years, DLL has been organizing these career counselling programmes for the students of 12th class.
Neetu Dhar was the resource person and Dr. Rewa Khajuria was the coordinator. Neetu Dhar spoke about new and emerging areas in languages with special reference to English. She also apprised about body language and right body postures. Dr. Rewa Khajuria explained the different stages of career selection.
About 82 students of 12th class interacted with the resource person and appreciated the information provided to them. |
