Early Times Report RAMGARH, Dec 4: Govt. Degree College Ramgarh took an active stance in celebrating Wildlife Conservation Day on December 4, 2023, by organizing a poster making competition. The event, hosted by the Department of Environmental Science (EVS), aimed to raise awareness about the significance of wildlife conservation. Under the able supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the Principal of the college, the organizing committee, comprising Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Brham Dutt, and Prof. Sandeep Kumari, worked diligently to ensure the success of the event. Akanksha Kangotra, a faculty member in the Department of EVS, provided valuable insights into the importance of wildlife conservation. She emphasized the goal of wildlife conservation, which is not only to ensure the safety and survival of wild species but also to educate people on living sustainably with these species. The highlight of the celebrations was the poster making competition, where students showcased their artistic talents while promoting the cause of wildlife conservation. The judging panel, consisting of Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Brham Dutt, and Prof. Sandeep Kumari, evaluated the entries based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact. The results of the competition were as follows: First Position: Jagmeet Kour of Sem-III Second Position: Reema Sharma of Sem-I Third Position: Komal Devi of Sem-I The winners were applauded for their creative expressions and commitment to spreading awareness about wildlife conservation.
