Kishtwar, Dec. 4: In a concerted effort to enhance road safety and discipline, the Kishtwar Police, under the leadership of SSP Khalil Poswal-JKPS, conducted Operation 3rd Eye Kishtwar, resulting in the issuance of 86 challans to violators of the Motor Vehicle Act. The operation targeted offenses such as rash driving, riding without a helmet, and wrong parking within Kishtwar town.
Utilizing advanced technological tools, including CCTV surveillance mechanisms and number plate reading systems, the police team captured photographic and videographic evidence of traffic rule violations. The team then meticulously ascertained the residential addresses of the vehicle owners and sent copies of the challans, along with photographic evidence, to their respective homes.
