| Theft case solved, stolen vehicle recovered by Bakshi Nagar police | | |

Jammu, Dec 4: An information was received at PS Bakshi Nagar regarding vehicle theft in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bakshi Nagar.
After this special police teams of PS Bakshi Nagar led by SDPO West Vikram Singh assisted by SHO PS Bakshi Nagar Inspr Rakesh Sharma did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up the accused namely :- Gourav Singh Jamwal S/o Anil Singh Jamwal R/o Nanak Nagar Jammu.
During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen scooty bearing Registration No. JK02BG 9272 was recovered from his possession.
On this, a case FIR No. 171 U/s 379 IPC was registered at PS Bakshi Nagar and accused was arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
